Arts and Candies Accessories* Review

LOVE quirky yet cute accessories than you will LOVE Arts and Candies! This post comes at you today in collaboration with Arts and Candies and their gorgeous accessories*
I was very kindly sent these beautiful pieces and I could not believe how realistic it all looked.

About Arts and Candies
"I specialise in designing and creating unique polymer clay jewellery, mostly consisting of wearable sweets! I also created a seperate line of Lush inspired jewellery designed specially for fans of Lush cosmetics.
Making candy themed jewellery was something I initially started for myself back in 2006. I was thinking how great it would be to wear lifesize liquorice allsorts around my wrist, but my online search when I went to find such jewellery got me nowhere. So I decided I would make my own! Only I ended up making them for other people instead! From that moment I began creating all kinds of unique bracelets and accessories, all based on original ideas that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere."

Talk about one very talented lady and once you browse her etsy page, you'll definitely be spoilt for choice! she sells everything from cute bubble bar earrings to a very colourful necklace full of Lush product charms. The ultimate Lush addict's dream.
My accessories came packaged in a little box, the goodies were wrapped up in a sparkly pink tissue paper along with a cute business card and a thank you note. It's all about the little things.
This keyring was made specially for me and I cannot tell you how much I would of chosen this if I saw it in a shop, it's so me! The cupcake keyring is so stunning and it looks just like a cupcake you would find at a patisserie. The attention to detail is amazing and for such intricate pieces too! I particularly love the whipped cream style frosting on the cupcake, it looks so real! The sprinkling of glitter and the two little gingerbread men really finishes off the product well.
I have already attached the keyring onto my wallet and I have added the adorable christmas pudding necklace into my collection ready for the festive period. I'm obsessed!
I'm so happy with my new accessories and I know I will be looking to spoil myself with a Lush accessory, how fab does the Lush charms necklace look?!

What do you think about these accessories? Do you think Lush and food themed jewellery should be a trend? Let me know in the comments below!

A huge thank you to Arts and Candies for my accessories and for working with me on this very cute collab!*

Kiko Haul

Don't you just love it when you pop into Kiko just to browse but then you end up putting products in your basket that you probably didn't need? Yeah.. I can totally relate because I ended up with these two products. Thought I will only swatch a lipstick or check out the endless array of colourful nail polishes but then you should always treat yo'self!

Smart Fusion Lipstick in 403 Soft Rose - Click (here)
A bestselling lip product and seeing the range of colours, I only wanted to do a swatch or two but then I found the colour for me. Soft Rose, a beautful nude pink is the perfect everyday colour and can suit any skin tone. This super moisturising lipstick is super creamy and glides onto the lips like a dream. The colour is very pigmented and you can really build up the coverage. There are 36 striking colours to choose from and I can totally see myself going to pick up some more. What amazed me was the quality, it really acts like a high end lipstick but without the huge price tag. This also has a gorgeous fudge/toffee like scent which is totally a plus for me! This lipstick is definitely underrated. £3.90 each

Smart Nail Lacquer in 22 Pearly Comfy Rose - Click (here)
Kiko always display their nail polish colours beautifully and arranged by colour groups. I was walking by and this particular colour caught my eye. This beautiful milky pink tone has lovely silver and pink shimmers running through the nail laquer. The compact bottle means you can travel with it easily and apply anywhere on the go. The brush is large and bristle packed which allows you to evenly apply colour without a fail. Again another underrated Kiko product, I just need to pick up some blue hues. £2.00 each

Neal's Yard Pamper Evening and trying their NEW Eye Cream

So over a week ago I went to a pamper evening hosted by Neal's Yard and boy! Did I need some me time.
I headed down to Birmingham new street and upon arrival I was greeted and I was asked what beverage I would like to drink whilst I wait for my facial to be set up. I opted for rose water. No not the water you use on your skin ^^ but mineral water with actual rose buds. I have to admit, this tasted way better than I expected. Whilst waiting I browsed all of the Neal's Yard products and saw what skincare ranges there was to offer.
I was then asked a few questions about my skin type and what products I use regularly. My facial was then made up of five products and one being the new eye cream!
A very creamy refining cleanser was used first which took off all of my make-up and impurities, the rejuvenating toner remove any further traces of make-up and cleared my complexion in preparation for the facial. After the cleansing and toning part was completed a mattifying serum was used on my t zone to reduce shine and to minimise the appearance of pores. My favourite step included a star buy, the wild rose beauty balm. This stuff is incredible. This was applied onto my face and was kept on my skin for around 15-20 minutes. This balm smelt amazing and just like a rose garden! Once this was removed, I truly was amazed. My skin looked and felt so bright and nourished. To finish off the facial, I got to try the new eye cream. The Frankincense Intense Lift eye cream was used under my eyes, this cream has said to lift, plump, revitalise and brighten the eye area.

About the new eye cream:
Age well with our certified organic eye cream and join the women who agree their eye area is visibly lifted after using it. Scientifically formulated to target skin that’s starting to show a lack of firmness, elasticity and definition, including deep lines and wrinkles around the eyes, we’ve added a tailored Revitalise Blend of green tea caffeine, turmeric and organic green coffee seed oil to revive the eye area.

I was so happy with the outcome, The products worked really well together and went with my combination skin type very well. I know I will be looking into treating myself to these products because it really works. My top picks include, The wild rose beauty balm and the mattifying serum.  All of the products felt very lightweight and was very fast absorbing. I think with prolonged usage, my skin will look it's very best.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick* in Double Dare Review

What a show stopper! This mini Kat Von D lipstick has now become a firm favourite of mine. I received this sample thanks to the Debenhams Beauty club and it was such a great opportunity to try out this brand even more, I have tried the infamous tattoo liner but I love this even more!

Product description:
Introducing the new and reborn Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick, the creamiest, most cushiony and unbelievably pigmented lipstick to ever cross your lips. Discover your new go-to color from Kat Von D’s biggest, boldest shade range—40 shades, 3 finishes and never-before-seen shades made to match Everlasting Liquid Lipstick bestsellers.
Originally created in 2014, the Studded Kiss collection is now reimagined with an updated look featuring monochromatic black studded packaging and a breakthrough new formula.
See and feel the difference instantly. Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick features a high-chroma content for pure, vivid color in a revolutionary new base formula that’s crystal clear, super-soft and virtually weightless. Made with smooth spherical pigments and lip-nourishing ingredients, it’s never been easier to coat your lips in creamy, comfortable color.
Vegan & Cruelty Free.

I received the shade Double Dare - Semi Matte Cocoa Blush and this is such a beautiful colour to wear every day. I have found this lipstick to be intensely pigmented, the above swatch was just one swipe! It really is amazing stuff! This warm pinkey brown shade is a never fail shade and can easily suit every skin tone.
Though having a scent doesn't really bother me but this has the most incredible buttery sweet scent which I am really liking, it seems to lift my mood every time I apply it too!
The formula is very creamy yet very lightweight, so easy to wear since it doesn't feel heavy on the lips despite the intensely creamy formulation.
Although it is a long wearing lipstick, I still have to touch up a little after eating or drinking but this is the norm with stick lipsticks. I am incredibly impressed with the actual shape of the bullet as this makes it much easier to apply and get sharp, crisp lines without the use of a lip liner and to finish of this already fabulous lip product... the packaging! It's the ultimate rock glam chic captured in a beauty product. I cannot get enough of this lipstick and I know I will be purchasing a full sized one but the only problem will be what shade to choose?!

Australian Bodycare Any Time Balm* Review

I thought I had tried all of the multi-use skincare products that were available but I was SO wrong, meet my new favourite game changer! The any time balm by Australian Bodycare!
This is my first ever product from the brand AB and I am glad it's stocked up in places like look fantastic and QVC. Read on to see how I used this product and why it worked for me.

Product description:
A rich creamy emollient balm for all skin types but especially good for blemished and dry flaking skin
Containing several key active ingredients such as Tea Tree Oil, Bisabolol, Soya and macadamia making the formula unique and effective.
Can be used “any time” and for almost all skin conditions
Vegan & Vegetarian friendly

There is quite a generous amount of product to use and the pot is just the 'right' size so it's easy to travel with and use on the go.
There are many uses for this product and I mainly use it for three purposes. One of the uses is that I apply and massage my cuticles and I have noticed quite a difference now, they aren't as dry and I feel that it has given my nails and hands a much more healthier appearance. The second use is for my lips, when I feel my lips are feeling oh so chapped and dry, I then apply this. Generously. It not only soothes my lips but it also brings my lips back to normal. The added tea tree oil is an antiseptic so it would kill off any bacteria which was causing my lips to be so uncomfortable.. I blame the cold harsh winds. Finally the third use is to apply onto any larger drier areas such as my elbows or anywhere I feel needs a huge moisture boost. The texture of this balm is amazing. It is somewhat in a solid form but once you scoop some into your fingers, it instantly melts and becomes an amazing consistency to work with. In terms of scent, I can only detect the tea tree oil scent, it's not particularly one of my favourite scents but it doesn't bother me whilst using this. A product that really works and is worth having in your skincare collection.

Lush Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb Review

Meet the cutest bath bomb EVER! This was the last Lush bath bomb from my stash and I knew I had to review this, how could I not? this cute lil chap is a bath bomb designed for children and it's such a lovely idea. Bath treats aimed at smaller people too but that being said, even though it's aimed at children, adults can use it too. Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb is designed to help you relax before bedtime and with one of the main ingredients being lavender, it is bound to calm and relax you just before bedtime.

About this bath bomb...
A gentle lavender bath bomb to relax children before bedtime. This is a bath bomb designed to look after young children’s delicate skin, and is so gentle it’s suitable for babies over six months. Its aromatherapy oils also work to soothe irritable cherubs before bedtime. Lavender is a calming aromatherapy oil, used in traditional medicine to treat skin irritations, sunburn and insect bites.

This fizzed away quickly leaving a brilliant trail of blue. My bath water did not appear to be a bright blue though, just a tint of blue which is exactly what you would need to relax and unwind since a brighter colour would defeat the purpose. The lavender scent was definitely there but it wasn't too overpowering. The added chamomile blue oil is a great ingredient in this bath product too since this soothed the skin, having said that this would be a great option for us adults after shaving if you have sensitive skin. I enjoyed this mini bath bomb and I think I will continue to use it as a midweek treat to unwind and let my skin soak up all that comforting goodness. A rather cheap and cheerful treat that does the job.

Etude House Kissful Lip Care Review

Etude House is one of my most favourite Korean beauty brands and I am currently ticking off products from my to buy list, one of the products that I needed to buy was this cute lip balm. Meet the Kissful Lip Care in strawberry.
The lipbalm is housed in a a very pretty dolly pink packaging with a vintage style sticker, this definitely looks like a product from the 90s but I am LOVING it!

I always opt for scented lipbalms and this one smells exactly like a strawberry lollipop, very sweet and perfect if you love sweeter scents. Surprisingly it also has a very slight tint so it gives your lips a perfect wash of pink making them look healthier and very doll like. The lip balm provides a good amount of hydration and it gives my lips that quick fix of moisturisation that I need. A perfect lip product for on the go and such a fun product to have in my collection.

There are many flavours available but I opted for this particular because... PINK 🙈💗💗 but you can opt for flavours like cherry and peach, which both sound so nice.

If you are looking to add another cute and fun lipbalm into your collection then definitely get this, this lip balm will give you a easy and quick dose of nourishment and hydration with the sweet scent of strawberries but if you are looking to treat your lips then this is something to steer clear from as this will not help dry or chapped lips.

Happily Ever Ava Cotton Candy Sugar Scrub Review

Exfoliating the skin is so important, FACT. However it can sometimes feel like a chore especially if you haven't got much time. I really try to make some time in my pamper sessions to do this and I wanted to share with you the body scrub I have been OBSESSING over lately! Meet the cutest and girliest body scrub ever!

I came across Happily Ever Ava on Etsy and I am so glad I did. Ava(the owner) makes and sells a huge array of body scrubs that are all made to order. The sugar, salt and coffee scrubs are made with natural ingredients and essential oils.
The best thing is that her products are cruelty free, 100% vegan and not tested on animals. The product contains luxurious butters and healing oils that work overtime to give you radiant skin that is soft to touch.

Now onto my review! Firstly, how insta worthy is the packaging?! The body scrub comes housed in a beautiful glass container finished off with colourful labels and a gold lid.

The scrub smells incredibly sweet so if you are into sweeter scents than this is definitely for you! The texture was also pleasant to work with, in the mixture you can see smaller, much finer granules and larger granules too which is pink Himalayan salt. It didn't even feel too abrasive on the skin, since that is my main concern with scrubs, it shouldn't feel uncomfortable whilst scrubbing away and even though the mixture of the scrub has bigger granules scattered everywhere it really doesn't affect the way you should scrub and you can easily scoop up a huge amount and scrub with ease. The ratio of butters and oils to granules is perfect, you get a decent amount of the good stuff that will work with the granules to reveal a really bright and smoother skin. I love that this also contains dried flower, fruits and teas. This truly is a real skin benefiting product! I love mine and now it's time you got one and added it into your skincare collection.
