Primark Winter Beauty And Accessories Wishlist

primark winter wishlist

Oh Primark! You never fail to impress me. So whilst browsing the Primark website I saw many things that I wanted liked and me being me I just had to make yet another wishlist out of the gorgeous items that are now available.
First up how damn cute are the socks?! They are so Instagram worthy and who says who can't carry on wearing pastels in the winter?! I just adore them and at £2 a pair, you really cannot go wrong.
Accessories accessories accessories! Primark have really upped their game in this department and I am forever being mesmerised at the quality and at how pretty everything looks and the two types of jewellery that I have been loving are the minimalistic bracelets and the rings! In my opinion you can just never have too many. Those rings are so eye catching and definitely looks Topshop worthy.
Lastly saving the best till last, the Primark beauty hamper looks amazing! and I really want to get my paws on it. I am not too sure if you can readily buy it like this or make your own but I really love the idea of having a hamper at home for those cozy pamper sessions in.

What are you loving from Primark at the moment?

REVIEW | Yankee Candle In Turquoise Sky

Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well!

It's a fact. Yankee candles are loved by many and what I love about Yankee Candles is the vast range of scents and amazingly thought of names to go with it. That's what happened here, I chose this particular scent because a) the name just caught my attention and b) look at the stunning shade of blue and the imagery to match the scent.
Calm, salty air with hints of sea grass and musk, float gently on ocean waves . . . off on an adventure beneath a bright blue sky.
This particular candle is small jar sized which I think is great for people like me who are still trying to find THE scent that you always go to. With this size you get a decent amount of burn time (25 - 40 hours) for the scent to fill your room and for you to decide if this is the scent you actually like.
If I had to describe Turquoise Sky then I would say that it is quite a musky scent, quite strong too so this one definitely doesn't take that long for the scent to fill up the room. Though the scent is majorly musky, it is also a bit refreshing too and it just sends me drifting away thinking about those long lost summer days.
It is strong enough that smaller rooms might actually be well-scented from simply leaving a large jar open. In my opinion, this is not bad but it might be overwhelming for some. If you are sensitive to strong smells but enjoy these kind of fragrances, I would recommend a medium jar or tumbler, which I have found to still be strong enough to give a pleasant but not a overwhelming scent to a big room.
Would I repurchase? Definitely no, simply because there is such a variety of scents that I really want to try, I love sweet/fruity scents too so I will definitely look into those next.
If you are looking for a fresh/musky scented candle then Turquoise Sky is the one for you!

Accessories And Body Piercing Jewellery From Crazy Factory* Review

Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well!

Today's post is all about accessories and body piercing jewellery, The lovely team over at Crazy Factory sponsored me with crazy cash points (which I will explain in a bit) so that I could review some of their jewellery pieces just for you all!
Crazy Factory specialise in high grade body piercing jewellery at prices everyone can afford, their products are shipped to a customer base of over 1.6 million worldwide (pretty impressive!) and what is unique about Crazy Factory is that the items are shipped directly to the customers from the manufacturing plant which means there are no wholesalers and distributors involved AND they choose not to sell in shops so everything is sold exclusively on their website. Their shipping team inspects the material, machining and functionality of all the products and checks every single shipment for completeness and ensures a swift delivery to all customers.
Now onto the crazy cash points scheme, basically it is their own special rewards program which allows you to save money every time you order, ten points is worth 10 cent so every time you shop, five percent of the value will be credited to your account which you can then redeem and put towards your next order. Not only that. Orders over €20 or more, shipping is free!

I was kindly given 2000 Crazy Cash Points which was worth € 20! I was allowed to freely browse the site and choose what I fancied. Seeing as my nose is pierced it would seem appropriate to order a whole lot of new and colourful nose studs as well as a nose ring which I have been meaning to buy and try to see if it suits me. I also came across the fashion jewellery section and saw a huge collection of beads! and let's just say my face looked like the hearted shaped eyes emoji because I have always wanted to buy Pandora charms but I cannot justify paying out alot just for one charm so there I was carefully selecting away charms that I gave a meaning to and I was very happy with what I selected.

Now onto the review... I'll start off by talking about the nose studs. I chose a variety of studs that were either surgical steel or acryl. When I received the studs I was amazed at how the coloured gems were so vibrant and I couldn't wait to try them all on so that I could decide what to wear first. One type of the nose studs that I ordered was a thinner surgical steel version and I believe only costed 44p but I found that two of studs had lost it's gem after a few days which was quite disappointing, it felt as if the gems were stuck on and did not have a proper hold. I then changed my nose stud to the more sturdier looking one which had a bit more thickness and the gem was 'encased' within the design and so this one was a whole lot better and alot cheaper! Though it was 20p I felt that these ones were made of better quality. I am scared to even wear the rest of the thinner nose studs simply because I do not want to lose any more of the beautifully coloured gems, I really love the purple one!
Lastly I am loving all of the pandora style bead charms, it is made with so much care and the detailing is just fabulous, I am just shocked at how each one is priced because the quality really surpasses it and I love how beautiful my bracelet looked after adding all of the bead charms onto the bracelet. Each charm feels and looks sturdy and I cannot wait to add even more charms. My personal favourite bead is the stunning pink and yellow jewelled one, it definitely is unique!

Overall I am pleased with my selection of jewellery items from Crazy Factory though being disappointed with a few of the nose studs, I now know what to avoid if I was to order again. For the price, the quality is amazing! If you are in need of new fashion/piercing jewellery then really do check them out!

Sure Festival Blogger Challenge

Hi lovelies! Hope you all are well.

Today's post features a lovely lil project style challenge, I'm taking part in the Sure Festival Blogger Challenge and though the festival season is well and truly over, Sure have teamed up with bloggers to keep the festival spirit going into Autumn/Winter.  How cool is that?! Who doesn't miss summer and it's long warm days?!
Sure is definitely one of my favourite deodorant brands and this particular one is perfectly sized because it is compressed, you are left with more space in your handbag for other essentials. *Fist pump* I knew I wanted to take part so they set a challenge to create my very own floral crown with the pretty bits and pieces that were sent over. Floral crowns are such an important staple at festivals and I have always wanted to try/wear one so this was the perfect opportunity to do so and to get my creative juices flowing.

I was sent an assortment of flowers and I really adored the pink roses, You definitely see the traditional whites and pinks worn at festivals and I love how the reds and purples can be used too but I wanted to make my flower crown candy/holiday themed, which meant pastel coloured hearts with turquoise, blue and pink gems to add a bit of glitz, also how could I not add glitter?! I feel that my design has the 'festival vibe' but with the added glitz and glamour of the holiday season. Clever non?

I really enjoyed making my own floral crown and I hope you all like my festival challenge entry, thank you Sure for getting me involved! I sure love lil DIY projects like this!

October Kawaii Box* Review

Hi lovelies! Hope you all are well!
Are you ready to discover the most CUTEST subscription box, like ever?!
I present to you - the Kawaii box
I have always been a huge fan of Japanese culture and the cute stationery/accessories that comes with it and whilst browsing the site, I saw the bloggers section and saw that you can apply to be a 'blogger of the month' and if you are picked the guys at kawaii box will send the latest month's box for you to review and share with your readers. I really had no idea that I would get picked so I was naturally really thrilled about the opportunity ^^

So Kawaii Box, is a subscription box program where each month you receive 10-12 cute Kawaii items. The charge is $18.90 for each box which may seem a bit much but if you add up the value of each box, it can reach double the price but rest assured the items are all original and from Korea/Japan so it is actually worth it.
I loved how my package came with a hand drawn cat. It's the little things.

Excited to see the items inside? here they are!

There were 11 cute Japanese and Korean Kawaii products included in the October’s Kawaii Box! Very pink and oh so cute!

A list of what was included: Rilakkuma squishy charm, Hello Kitty ink pen, Nemuneko mini plush, Kawaii towel, Puccho chewy candy, Neko pencil sharpener, Jewellery Seal deco stickers, Cute animal card & envelope, Soft 3D cupcake stickers, Pastel candy hair bands and a Pink bunny pouch.

I have to admit I actually loved all of the items that were included, but if I had to choose a particular item than I would say that the hello kitty pen is my most favourite item, I just adore how the pen has cute lil charms attached. Definitely better than the average biro pen. The hair ties are super cute and I cannot wait to wear these! The squishy and plush keyrings are perfect for adding cuteness to my filofax, I have already attached the Rilakkuma one and I now get why squishies are addictive! A future hobby in collecting them perhaps? The brightly coloured face towel is a great addition to the box because it is such a practical item and it sure will brighten up my bathroom. The candies were delicious and I have to say that I would prefer Japanese candies over UK sweets any day! Such a unique flavour, may have to look these up online for other delicious flavours. The neko sharpener is mega cute and is happily sitting on my desk. I am always collecting make-up bags so the bunny pouch is such an ideal thing for me, so in goes my daily make-up items! You can also use it as a pencil case or you can store smaller items in there too. The jewellery stickers and cupcake stickers are perfect again for my filofax, it sure makes note writing and to do lists much more colourful and cuter looking and lastly the animal card which I am saving for an occasion to gift to a friend.

I really loved the concept of the box, since it isn't a usual beauty box that is already known by many. I know that I will get a use out of all of the items because I heart stationery, my hair needed some new ties and I won't be able to resist the cutely packaged candy.

Check it out here and receive a box filled with 10-12 hand-picked Kawaii items directly to your home every month. If you love cute stationery, accessories and food items direct from Japan/Korea then I really suggest that you look into this, you won't be disappointed!

What do you think of the Kawaii box?

Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut Face Mask Review

Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well ^^
I am a huge fan of pamper evenings and Montagne Jeunesse face masks and when combined together, it makes it an ultimate relaxation experience simply because who can say no to this much loved face mask brand?!
Whilst perusing in Boots, I saw this particular new scent which I have yet not tried and the second I saw the words 'Coconut' and 'Shea butter' I immediately popped this into my shopping basket, I absolutely adore coconut scents and I could not wait to go home and use it.
At such a cheap price (£1) You really cannot go wrong, it doesn't break the bank and you can also get away with two uses.
Before applying the mask, I cleansed my skin to get rid of my day make-up and to ensure that the mask had a clean base to work it's magic on.
Once opening the packet, the incredible smell of coconuts was unleashed, I cannot tell you how scrummy the scent actually was. It just simply smelt like coconut buttercream and if you love coconut scents then this is truly the one to pick up.
Not only did the scent made me feel relaxed but the actual formulation of the mask was like applying alot of a light and hydrating face cream. It did not in any way feel heavy or uncomfortable.
I kept this on for around the 20 minute mark and I could feel the mask tightening just ever so slightly and because this is a clay mask, it is bound to happen. I originally thought that this was a cream based mask so I was wondering why my skin started to feel tight but then I checked the ingredients whilst waiting to take the mask off and I was reassured that it's just the clay doing it's work.
So once my face was washed and the mask was removed, I was immediately impressed by the results. My complexion looked healthier, clean, soft and brighter!! My skin was by no means red or irritated which can sometimes happen with clay masks but my skin just felt so hydrated and plump that it literally felt as if my skin drank the coconutty goodness.

No doubt I will be re-purchasing as this makes a lovely lil pamper treat to look forward to every week. I saw the results immediately and I definitely recommend this to all you face mask fanatics out there!

New Mommy Make-Up Routine

Hi Lovelies! Hope you all are well!

So the month of October was quite a life changing one since our lil bundle of joy arrived at the end of the month which meant the start of new mommy duties for me. I have also found that I have been multi-tasking alot and that's what us women do really well and so I wanted to share with you my new make-up routine and what products work well in terms of longevity and some new daily favourites.
First up is the Benefit Porefessional Primer which really ensures that my make-up stays put all the time, handy since time is so limited now for the usual touch ups and since guests are always visiting and the last thing I should worry about is how my make-up is looking. I then turn to my all time favourite concealer - Maybelline fit me which covers up all my blemishes and the darkness around my eyes. I find that this concealer lasts really long and it certainly does brighten up the eye area and lastly for the face I finish off with a light dusting of Mineral Veil by Bare Minerals, this sets my make-up beautifully and mattifies my skin.
Moving onto the eyes, I quickly line my upper and lower lashline with the dark grey Dr Hauschka eye pencil and blend it out with the sponge applicator provided and coat my lashes with two generous coats of the amazing They're Real Mascara by Benefit. I really enjoy grooming and shaping my brows so the Gimme Brow Gel by Benefit keeps them in place and it really helps to frame my face too!
I like to add accents of pink into my make-up palette so my favourite blusher from Mac - Dollymix really adds vitality and colour back onto my complexion and seeing as the pigment is long lasting,it really helps since you do not really need to touch up at all. Lastly I finish off my look with a coat of my favourite MUA lipstick which is a beautiful barbie pink shade, this lipstick is not only a great bargain but it is uber moisturising and gives a lovely pink tint to the lips.
I love using all of these products simply because after testing out many products, I find that these eight make-up items go well with my new busy lifestyle and seeing as it all lasts long I do not need to keep re-applying. I usually aim to do my make-up in five minutes but it can sometimes take ten, either way I certainly do take a lil time out to do my daily routine and let me assure all you new mommies or existing mommies out there, it is possible to look and feel great amidst all the running around doing baby/house chores.

New mommies! What is your make-up routine like? Comment below I would love to know!
