Rings and Tings Jewellery* - Review

Rings and Tings is an online store that sells cheap but chic jewellery, everything from statement rings to vintage style bags. I personally love the website and am sure you all will too ^^
I was sent three pieces to review and I was excited to see what was going to be sent to me because it was a kind of a lucky dip situation where I didn't know what I was going to receive but luckily I liked all of the pieces and it is something that I would wear on a daily basis.
Rings and Tings have also been featured in top publications such as Teen Vogue, Glamour and even on the fashion website Fashiolista.

First product that I received was this ring - Vintage Wing Ring. When I first initially saw this I thought no way am I going to wear this, I am not into the whole 3D statement jewellery but then once I wore it I started to grow a liking towards it. It has a unique look to it and it is far from the average looking ring. If you are into the whole angel wing thing then I do think that this is for you. I do however like the tarnished gold look and since the ring was quite small it only fitted well on my ring finger, you could also wear it as a knuckle ring.

The second item that I received was this bracelet - Pyramid Studs With Spike Woven Bracelet. I think that this is my favourite out of all of the three items, It is something I would and of course do wear. Great to pile up with neon woven bracelets to create the ultimate arm candy or can be worn alone for a minimalist look. It is adjustable so there is no issue on it not fitting properly. I like how there is a random gold spike added to one side of the bracelet and that it is two tonal with the silver and gold together.
.

The last product I received was this necklace - Love Necklace.
I love simple necklaces, the ones that look dainty and simple. This one is slightly longer and can look great on it's own or layered up with other necklaces.
I love how there is a pearl embedded on the letter 'o' and the little dangly diamond charm at the end of 'e' I think that this makes the necklace seem more interesting than the standard ones that just have 'love' written on it. It's a very light piece and would look great with anything you wear.

I liked the jewellery from Rings and Tings because it is so affordable, there is something to match everyone's taste and they sell quite a range of items and not just jewellery.
Have you ever ordered anything from Ring and Tings? or will you be ordering anything? I would love to know!

Balm Balm Lip Balm In Tea Tree* - Review

I have seen Balm Balm Lip Balms everywhere and when I received this lil pot in my May Souk Souk box I was so glad because there are two other variations available, which is Unscented and Geranium Rose. I hate unscented products and I already have two Vintagey Rose lipbalms.
These lip balms are 100% organic and are not tested on animals :)
I love the scent of Tea Tree, it so reminds me of when I used to be obsessed with Tea Tree skincare ages ago.
I also like how this is a medicated lipbalm that can help soothe dry patches or any other boo boos that occur on the lips. I actually was looking for other medicated lip balms because I have far too many 'normal' lipbalms but by chance I received this just in time :)
This is also a multi use balm, it can be used on your elbow, a face balm for your heels or anywhere else you think needs a little TLC.
This has a lovely texture unlike Vaseline (which I hate with a passion)
On the website it states that this product has won many awards and it even has a fan following with some celebs who love this product too!
If you are not into the pot lipbalm they also have tube additions available so you can still enjoy this product either way.
I love this and it now has a permanent place on my bed side table (I will be doing a post on what I currently have on there since they look like popular posts and I love having a nosey on what other bloggers keep by their bedside)
Currently the Tea Tree Balm Balms are out of stock but the Unscented and Geranium Rose ones are available.
I can already feel that this will be my new holy grail <3

L'Oreal True Match Foundation In The Shade Beige Rose* - Review

I knew L'Oreal foundations were good and I have read alot about these foundations and everyone seems to like them so when I saw this in the goody bag I was happy to see it and it was a chance to see what the fuss was all about.

The description for the foundation:
"Following research into the skin-tones of women from around the world, the L’Oréal Laboratories have developed a unique palette of 12 skin-true shades in L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation.
The result for L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation is a natural looking, skin-true colour without tide-marks and outstanding coverage without caking.
L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation has a micro-fine, creamy texture that contains 3 light, non-greasy oils. You can build up layers of L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation coverage for a made-to-measure finish.
L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation gives outstanding coverage without caking. L'Oréal Paris True Match Foundation conceals imperfections, without caking : its micro-fine, creamy texture blends perfectly with the skin's texture."

Luckily the shade matches my skintone so there wasn't a problem there.
Firstly I love that this is a pump bottle foundation, this helps so much in applying the right amount with no mess, no wastage and it is hygienic too :)

The shades were split into W (warm undertones - yellow), N (neutral undertones - a mixture of yellow and pink) and C (cool undertones - pink)
The texture of this foundation is very liquidy and thin. I thought that this might give me less coverage but the foundation blends like a dream and it gives medium coverage which can be built up to a fuller coverage.
This foundation does not look cakey at all, it actually gives a natural flawless look and it lets my skin breathe so you can imagine how light it must feel. It is similar to the Touche Eclat foundations since it has the barely there look :)
It gives me a dewy look which I am liking at the moment but you can still add face powder if you  are not into the dewy look. If you have oily skin then I would advise that you do not try this because it will make your complexion seem more greasy and in reality it should make you look healthier and dewy.
It lasts for around 5 hours before it begins to disintegrate which is not bad for a high street foundation. I find applying this with any foundation brush gives the same finish, but to achieve a flawless look I would suggest using a buffing brush.

For £10.29 it is worth it, a slightly pricier high street foundation but it 'matches' up to my expectations! (slight pun here)

L'Oreal Infallible Eye Liner in Grey Obsession - Review

I love eyeliners and this has to be the first one that I have ever tried from L'Oreal.

A round up of the product.
Enjoy beautifully defined eyes for up to 16 hours! New Infallible® Never Fail Eyeliner is L'Oréal's most advanced mechanical liner with superior long-wearing technology. The rich and creamy formula glides on easily and evenly and sets quickly for fade-proof color. Use the built-in smudger and sharpener to create versatile eyeliner looks for any occasion.

I'm LOVING it. It goes on really smoothly and it lasts without smudging or fading. However I use it, it just works - strong line on upper lid; smudged under lower lashes or even along the inner lash line. The smudger works much better than others I've tried and the dinky built in sharpener is great.
The liner itself has a creamy formula so unlike other liners it does not scratch your eyelids because other liners have low pigmentation so you really need to work the product in but not for this liner!
I like that this has a auto-retractable design for an easy precise application without having to sharpen the nib.
The staying power is great! It does last long though I wouldn't personally keep it on for the full 16 hours because you are supposed to take your make up off before sleeping. It does stay on for a really long time but I wouldn't say it stays for the full 16 hours it just stays from the moment you put it on in the day until the night where you would ideally take it off.
Lastly I love the shade because I don't normally go for this kind of a shade but since I was sent this I got the chance to try it out and see how it looked. I normally use blacks and dark browns but I think it's great to switch it up and use a deep grey which actually works just as well.

I would recommend that you check this nifty lil eyeliner, for the price it is definitely worth it! Check it out here

Pearmazing Bath Cake From Amelia's Bath Bombs - Review

This is the first bath cake that I have ever used and I was far from being disappointed.
It is a bath bomb because it fizzes and the ingredients are similar but it looks more flat then the perfect spherical shape of a bomb so maybe that's why it is called a bath cake. This was a HUGE one and it was bigger than my palm. I decided to cut it in half and trust me, half of this is more than enough!
This bath cake has pear essential oils and it really does smell like a juicy pear, though pears have a slight scent this smelt more enhanced. But it did not smell artificial in any way because you could tell straight away if it did, luckily the scent stayed in the limit. All in all the scent is great, I loved it :)
When you look at the bath cake it has two colours, a deep pinky purple and white. as a combination it works well and it is visually pretty too. I like how the colour doesn't coordinate with the scent because when you normally think of pears you would think of light green shades.
Watching this fizz away was a magnificent sight! Though it happened very quickly I tried my best to capture each stage of bath cake fizzing away, my favourite image is the last one where it looked like pink ombré bath water :)
This made my bath water turn into a beautiful candy pink shade and the scent of pears was still there, I loved this bath cake!
It is so worth the £2.25!!! because you can half this and save the other one for later so it's like having two bath cakes for the price of one! Another winner from Amelia's Bath Bombs and it is available here

L'Oreal Chrome Intensity Eyeshadow in Blue Jean* - Review

I am sure everyone knows how good these lil beauties are - The L'Oreal chrome intensity eye shadows are one of my favourites. For a high street brand this is for sure a very luxurious and a highly pigmented eyeshadow. I already own one that is entitled Purple Obsession. The link for that review - here
I received this one in my goody bag and boy was I happy to see this! I love the intense navy blue shade. It has blue sparkles and is a very shimmery shade indeed.
In just one swipe of the eyeshadow on my wrist, this is how the product looks! with just ONE swipe... Imagine the depth of the colour you will achieve if used with an eye primer.
I love the packaging of this mono eyeshadow, so eye catching and the combination of gold and blue works well! You get the mini applicator but I never use those.
Wear time is brilliant, with primer it lasts a good 5 - 7 hours before it starts to fade. If you do need to re apply then who says that you can't pop it in your bag and touch up on the go? (don't forget a mirror)
It blends well into a smokey eye (not recommended for a day time look) and does not crease which is great and neither does any fall out occur when applying the shadow.
This is worth each and every penny because I know other brands who charge twice or triple for their mono shadows simply because of the 'brand name' so a mere £5.99 is nothing.

I would recommend this range of eyeshadows from L'Oreal <3 ^^

Have you tried this or any other colour from this range? I would love to know.

Benta Berry G-1 Exfoliating Facial Cleanser* - Review

Monochromatic madness! Benta Berry is a French skincare company and the ingredients are sourced from all over the world to achieve a 100% effectiveness (based on ancestral traditions of each country) this brand is also designed and targeted towards the youth, say between the ages of 12 - 24.
This is my product from Benta Berry and was excited to see how it would perform since it did say all of this...
A creamy gel exfoliator that gives pores a deep cleaning while leaving skin’s natural defense barrier intact. It contains burdock, which, when combined with jasmine, mandarin and dead nettle calms and clears skin. The peel is also rich in polyphenol-containing bilberry extract which protects against bacteria. Apricot seeds provide the gentle removal of dead skin cells and clogged pores to make it feel free and fresh. Zinc provides a balanced sebum production. The result: skin is soft with a matte complexion.
The scent had more of a man vibe then being balanced for both genders, it has this fresh, cool aftershave smell which I personally like but the scent seemed more to favour the males.
I love the packaging, I just love black & white anything and if these were put on any shelf it would   grab anyone's attention.
This exfoliator is creamy in texture so this will feel comforting if you have dry skin. There are tiny microbeads in this exfoliator and the microbeads are so tiny and fine that it rubs across the skin gently without scratching my skin. The downside would be that the amount of microbeads is too little, hence I have to use quite a huge amount of the exfoliator for each use. After using it, I love the texture of my smooth and moisturized skin. It gave my skin the perfect 'matte look' because all of the excess oils and make up was removed. It did brighten up my face a little bit but it did not reach the optimum level of brightness which I have seen before when using other facial masks/moisturisers and cleansers.
I think for me this product has it's good points and it's bad points so for me am going to be in the middle about this one. It's not so great nor is it that bad either.
Check it out here
Have you tried this cleanser before? what are your views on it? I would also love to know what facial cleanser works for you, comment below ^^

Betrousse Glitz and Glamour Box* - Initial Reaction

I was just recently sent another Betrousse box and I could not wait to dive in and see the products that came inside the box that is entitled 'Glitz and Glamour' My box arrived quite late because of a logistic issue (did anyone else's box arrive late?) but all in all I am glad that it did arrive (finally) so let's see what I got in this box...

JĀSÖN Rosewater & Chamomile Normalizing Shampoo (£7.29 for 255ml)

I have never tried a JĀSÖN product before,This shampoo is paraben free, and it is suitable for all hair types. It uses rosewater and chamomile to help balance the scalp's PH levels and removes residue without stripping or drying the hair out. Seems to be a good shampoo.

Benta Berry G-1 Exfoliating Facial Cleanser (£14 for 30ml)

Another brand I have not yet tried, A facial cleanser that is for both genders, It states that this G-1 treatment is enriched with the Benta Berry regulating exfoliating complex and combines the botamix (burdock, jasmine and mandarin) with white dead-nettle and zinc pidolate to control excess sebum and purify skin. With this combined action, it removes impurities and dead skin cells using the exfoliating properties of ground apricot seeds. Quite a pricey lil product so my expectations for this is sky high.

Fair Naturally Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser (£3.99 for 200ml)

Haven't heard of this brand before but they're made in the UK and use fairtrade ingredients which is always good. The scent is light and pleasant, plus it absorbs into the skin quickly, so I'll look forward to using this. It states that it deeply nourishes and moisturises your skin with a luxurious Mango & Safflower Body Moisturiser, made with Fairtrade Mango Extract & Cane Sugar, which are known for their conditioning and moisturising properties. This subtle body moisturiser leaves your skin feeling irresistibly soft, smooth and nourished.

Makebelieve Shimmer Lip Gloss (£10 for 15ml)

My first impressions when I saw this I was like WOAH! talk about a super glitzy gloss, I liked the nude shade which is very me. The product states that enhance your tan with shimmer, an indulgent moisturising lip-gloss for a luscious pout with a hint of shimmer.

Tulecos Tonifying Oil (£33 for 50ml)

Lastly a Tonifying oil for your feet, packaged in a luxe bottle with a pump, this is 100% natural and 95.49% organic. It has a strong peppermint scent and does not feel greasy at all. There are two products from this brand, you either get a relaxing oil or a tonifying oil. The product states that this 100% natural concentrated massage oil tonifies the skin with purifying Peppermint, Tree tree, Lavender Juniper and Orange organic essential oils properties while other vegetable oils in this formula nourish, moisturise and soften your feet.
I think that this has been the best box out of all of the previous Betrousse boxes that I had recieved because I would actually use every single product and there isn't that disappointing factor where one product would not suit me.

Betrousse Glitz and Glamour box £10 + p&p*
Available to buy at only £10 instead of a £70 value, worth it?? I definitely think so!! Check it out here. Have you recieved this box? What did you think of the contents? Comment below! ^^
